The former address, "reactionary drivel," was a P. G. Wodehouse gag that few ever understood to be a mildly self-deprecating joke. Drivel, perhaps, but not reactionary. Neither the Red Caps nor the Reds ever got it.

One is reasonably sure that the world would be a much happier place if whiny white boys with guitars were banned to the shadows.
