Everyone Writes a Poem Entitled “My Universities”
Although some of my universities
Were universities, I take your point
For you too are a university
I want to know your course of study, your life
Tell me about your university:
Your favorite poet, how you see the skies
Do you like trains? Which hand do you write with?
Which crayon-color did you use up first?
Tell me a story that you tell yourself
While I polish your eyeglasses just right
