Whatever Happened to the Tank Commander Who Disobeyed Orders?
A brave little man with a shopping bag
Defiantly stood before an army tank
A foul machine designed to grind free men
Into bloody scraps to be hosed away
Two unknown men - it was not the tank that stopped
It was the tank commander who stopped the tank
All that is left is old videotape:
Two bullets made all problems disappear
A brave little man with a shopping bag
Another brave man with a battle tank:
They stopped -
And, yes, someday China will be free
