The Stopping Power
of the American Incel
“I’m giving all my grandchildren AR rifles.”
-my brother-in-law
And if my nieces and nephews fire their guns
To kill their classmates or some passers-by
Or maybe the neighbors’ little pre-school sons
They’ll still love the Second even as they fry
The killings in our streets we continue in jail:
Electrocution, drugs, shooting, or gassing
Or maybe by hanging – note how they choke and flail -
And the Ballcap Church will bless their passing
We’re such a shining city on our high hill
Compensating for our loser-ness with each patriotic kill
